Python programming for geomatics  

This course gives an introduction to the Python programming language and focuses on applications for Geomatics in its assignments. After following this course, the student should be able to: 1. explain and use the basic elements of a programming language; 2. describe and give examples of some Object Oriented programming features; 3. translate a (simple) Geomatics related problem into an algorithm; 4. construct a correctly functioning program used in the Geomatics domain; 5. understand the difference between an interpreted and compiled language and explain when to use one or the other.
