Description

1. Understand the advantages, current drivers and challenges to move to sustainable and low CO2 emission energy systems. 2. Identify the main concepts of a sustainable building and the required design or energy retrofit for a building to be comfortable, sustainable and energy efficient. 3. Perform an energy audit and use building energy simulation programs to recommend solutions to improve the energy performance and carbon footprint of a building/industry. 4. Choose between the various possible sustainable energy technologies for a given project in terms of costs, energy savings and reduction in emissions. 5. Determine the concepts of sustainable transportation and the different energy efficient technologies and fuels related to transport
