Project is an endeavour with defined start and finish aimed at producing a unique product or service. Project management uses a set of knowledge, skills, tools, and technologies to achieve project objectives. Projects in engineering disciples are characterized by high degree of complexity and require systemic approach to their planning, execution, and control. The course adopts the project life-cycle approach and covers all phases of the project execution. It focuses on formal and quantitative methods including computational tools used for successful project management.
