The course includes topics from criminology; regulations, standards and rules for working with evidence; microscopic and molecular biological methods for identifying evidence; microscopic image recognition and classification software; dactyloscopic data, digitization and organization of dactyloscopic data, automatic search software; standards and protocols for the exchange of fingerprints between different IAFIS, IDENT and EURODAC databases; genetic information as a method of identification; DNA profiling; software for organizing databases with reference DNA profiles; Biometric recognition; handwriting recognition; signature recognition and image recognition.
