Description

The scale and user-appropriate visualization of geodata is one of the core areas of cartography even in the age of digital cartography geographic information. The teaching of cartographic design and design theory in the Areas of topographical and thematic maps or map-related forms of expression as well the knowledge of their implementation in terms of map and reproduction technology contributes to Quality assurance of the study of cartography and geoinformation.
