Information systems security  

The aim of the study course is to provide a general overview on information systems security. The tasks of the course are to introduce standards, management, general conceptions, the most important elements and new topics. For the presentation of certain technical topics, an expert on the particular topic could be invited. Often this expert could be one of the students. Language of course teaching: English, Latvian. Study and present at least one information security topic and its application (eb13, eb54, eb62) 3. Aware of the legal and social aspects of information security management (eb41, eb43) Competence: 4. Create a simple information security development plan (eb44, eb53)
