Aims
Upon completion of this course, the student is able to:
understand in depth how national and international legislation regulates space activities and to apply this knowledge to particular cases;
understand in depth the theoretical underpinnings of space policy and develop a critical appreciation of its practical implementation, in particular in the European context;
understand in depth selected economic rationale of space activities and the ensuing interaction between industry and space organisations;
understand and appreciate the role of management to achieve space project goals effectively with respect to time, budget, quality and organisational constraints.

ITU, Moon, Eut, INT, ESA as framework for European cooperation, European Space policy current developments, Astronauts settlements and tourism, Evolution of Space Organisations, National Space Laws, National Space
agencies policies, launching contracts, launch installations, Quality assurance
Apart from the academic lectures a forum is therefore given to the actors in ESA and EU in order to inform the students on the latest steps towards the formulation of a European Space Policy.
