"The graduates of the master’s degree in physics complete with the acquired\r\nknowledge and skills, and because of its professional breadth and flexibility\r\nvalued job description of the physicist from; they are in principle about the transition to a doctoral phase\r\nempowered. In detail this means:\r\n They deepen their mathematical and scientific knowledge and expand theirs\r\nOverview of inner-physical connections as well as those with the\r\nNeighboring disciplines and specialize in a special field of physics in such a way that\r\nthey can connect to current, international research.\r\n They apply their knowledge to complex physical problems and\r\ntasks and are able to analyse, formulate and, as far as possible, solve them on a scientific basis.\r\n You are able to solve complex physical problems and conduct experiments\r\nplan, set up, implement and interpret the results (emphasis\r\nexperimental physics) or simulation and modeling on the basis of physical\r\nApply basic principles (focus on theoretical physics).\r\n You acquire social skills during your studies. These key qualifications\r\n(soft skills) are largely integrated in the specialist modules and, above all, in\r\nacquired during the research phase.\r\n During the one-year research phase, you acquire the ability to get into any\r\ntechnical-physical specialty, the current international\r\nTo research and understand specialist literature on this, experimental or theoretical\r\nMethods in the field to design and implement, the results in light\r\nclassify the various physical phenomena and draw conclusions\r\nfor technical developments and scientific progress.\r\n During the research phase you will learn the necessary stamina and be able to\r\nin research and development projects with failures, unexpected ones\r\nAvoid difficulties and delays and, if necessary, with a modified strategy\r\nstill reach the goal.\r\n You are able to do this, even far away from the special field deepened in the master's degree\r\nto become professionally active and thereby their basic physical knowledge together with the\r\napply learned scientific methods and problem-solving strategies.\r\n You are able to understand complex physical facts and your own\r\nComprehensive research results in the context of current international research\r\nto be discussed and in written (master's thesis) and oral form (lecture with\r\nfree discussion).\r\n They are aware of their responsibility towards science and possible consequences\r\naware of their activities for the environment and society and act in accordance with the\r\nPrinciples of good scientific practice."@en . .
