Think of physical planning, risk management, navigation systems, location based services, movement analysis, augmented reality, increasing use of maps and volunteered geographical information. \n\nThis program is a very complete Master of Science program which focuses on the management and application of geographical information from scientific perspective. This program is also unique because it has blended learning concept and co-operation between 4 renowned Dutch universities which are ITC (focus on technical and application oriented courses for developing countries), TU Delft (focus on the legal, organisationla, and technical aspects of geo-information handling), Utrecht University (focus on geography and planning), and Wageningen University (focus on agricultural and rural appllications). Each universities have their own geo-information technology related specializations which makes this program advancing in the use of GIS for variety of applications as well. \n\nFor the first part of the program, there are only 4 short contact periods per year which require student to present in person. Aside from that, students can choose where they can study through electronic learning environment.
