Basics of aerodrome operation  

The study course covers safety, legality and efficiency aspects of aerodrome facilities, services, equipment and operational procedures, aviation security, air navigation services and other areas, safety, legality and efficiency of aircraft operations at airports, as well as passenger and cargo services. Outcome: Understands airport operations and is able to organize the aerodrome planning process. - Laboratory works. Exam. Criteria: compliance with ICAO and EASA guidelines, recommended practices and standards. Understands the theoretical models on which airport planning methods are based. - Laboratory works. Exam. Able to make traffic forecasts. - Practical works. Exam. Understands the aerodrome certification process. - Practical works. Exam. Criteria: understanding of the EASA aerodrome certification framework. Understands the development trends and legal framework of the aviation industry. - Laboratory works. Essay. Criteria: analytical data processing and qualitative analysis.
