Description

Aims The aim of the course is to: introduce students to basic concepts in machine learning, focusing on statistical methods for supervised and unsupervised learning. Outcome: Objectives By the end of the course students should be able to: demonstrate a good understanding of basic concepts in statistical machine learning; apply basic machine learning methods to practical problems. This module is shared with 4th year undergraduate students from the Department of Engineering.
