Description

The course is a mixture of lectures, workshops, and a practical project.The lectures will focus on introducing the fundamental concepts of machine learning whereas the workshops will interactively demonstrate these concepts. The students will also undertake a practical project to deepen their understanding and gain hands-on experience. This project will have space-related objectives and the realization will be team-based. Outcome: – Learn the foundations of machine learning;- Learn the foundations of evolutionary computation;- Learn the foundations of deep learning and artificial neural networks;- Familiarize with applications of machine learning in space-related problems.
