Aircraft systems technologies and simulation lab  

The aim of the course is to provide fundamental methods and tools for the design and analysis of the main systems employed on aircrafts for the generation, the conversion, the regulation, the distribution and the use of energy and data. All the examined systems are described in terms of general architecture and working principle, and basic design practices are also presented for relevant cases, by using reduced-order analytical models. Specific sections of the course are dedicated to the reliability/safety analysis of onboard systems, as well as to the development of numerical codes for the simulation of systems' dynamics.
