Learning Outcomes After the successful completion of this module, the students will be able to - work with common types of attitude determination sensors in hardware and software - implement common types of attitude estimation algorithms - work with common types of attitude control actuators in hardware and software - implement common types of attitude control laws Content Understand the theory of attitude determination and control algorithms and the required sensors and actuators: - magnetic field sensors - sun sensors - angular rate gyroscopes - star cameras - attitude estimation algorithms: q-method, QUEST, FOAM - magnetic actuators - reaction wheels - fluid-dynamic actuators - quaternion feedback control - sliding mode control
