Electronics for space systems

The Electronics for Space Systems course aims to provide the tools for understanding the figures of merit, the project requirements, and the circuit topologies of the subsystems that compose a satellite payload for telecommunications in integrated technology. Specific learning objectives: - Understanding and use of the main figures of merit of a radio-frequency electronic system on satellite, and of the main subsystems that compose it: amplifier, mixer, PLL, filter - Analysis of the most used circuits to create these subsystems in integrated technology - Understanding the block diagram and components of the satellite power system - Analysis of the functional limits of electronic devices and circuits in the space environment, and hints to the techniques of Radiation-Hardening of integrated circuits
