This course will cover the following topics: Review of Global Navigation Satellite Systems Coordinate systems in geometric satellite geodesy Satellite orbital motionGNSS signalsGNSS observations equations Adjustment and filtering methodsApplications of GNSS signals for environmental modellingAll labs and implementations based on MATLAB Outcome: Having taken this course students will be able to describe the principles of GNSS based positioning methods, the main components in a satellite navigation system and their functions account for and analyse the influence of different error sources on the positioning precision implement basic algorithms for estimation of GNSS based applications plan, perform and process precise GNSS measurements formulate examples of the role of GNSS, or GNSS type products and services, in space
